Abstract

Abstract: The article examines heart coherence as a fundamental educational resource for enhancing well-being, emotional regulation, and learning quality in contemporary school settings. Drawing on evidence from psychophysiology, affective neuroscience, and embodied education, heart coherence is presented as a trainable competency that promotes autonomic nervous system balance, emotional stability, and key cognitive processes such as attention, working memory, and cognitive flexibility. The paper integrates international scientific research with pedagogical insights, highlighting psychophysiological regulation as a foundational condition for meaningful learning, effective educational relationships, and inclusive classroom climates. Schools are thus envisioned as embodied learning environments in which the internal states of students and teachers shape the very possibility of participation, well-being, and holistic development.
