Abstract

Abstract: This work stems from a reflection on what the role of the school should be today, in a time of profound change—an era dominated by hyperconnection, yet also marked by solitude and individualism. It explores possible strategies to create environments and opportunities for both personal and collective growth, starting from a reconsideration of teaching practices, which must evolve to remain relevant to how students perceive and experience life. Moving away from the traditional role of knowledge transmission, the focus shifts to the importance of meaningful relationships that serve as a vital bridge between the real and virtual worlds, between family and society. Based on an analysis of everyday teaching experiences, the conclusion is drawn that school must first and foremost be a place of care, well-being, and relationship. Only by integrating these dimensions with the acquisition of knowledge can meaningful learning be fostered and the holistic growth of each individual be truly supported.
